A cheese festival website: an animated landing page
A landing page for the restyle of a cheese festival in Kostroma: a three-day programme in tabs, the cheesemakers, souvenirs, tickets, questions and answers, and a venue map. The warm yellow and chocolate brown of the identity, large type and animation on every screen. Versions for a computer and a phone, plus scroll recordings for the project presentation.
- 12
- sections on one page
- 3
- programme days in tabs
- 2
- versions: computer and phone
The interactive demo did not start in this browser, so a static version is shown.
The task
Show the festival’s new identity on a website: everything a guest needs on one page, plus a short video of the animated site for the project presentation.
What I did
- A landing page of twelve sections: about, programme, cheesemakers, Kostroma, souvenirs, photos of past years, tickets, questions, map and newsletter
- The first screen comes alive: the cheese drops into the frame and bounces, the holes and letters appear one by one, then the dates and the city slide in
- Animation with GSAP and ScrollTrigger: blocks appear on scroll, a running ticker, photo parallax, the header turns yellow after the first screen
- The three-day programme in tabs, expanding answers, cards that lift under the pointer
- The venue map is drawn in SVG: stages, stalls, the embankment and numbered spots
- The mobile version: one column, a burger menu, large buttons
- The scroll recordings are captured frame by frame: the page clock advances exactly one frame at a time, so the animation never stutters
Proof
- The page plays a recording of the site on a computer and on a phone; a click jumps to any section
What else you can hand over to me
- A landing page for a service or course, with a booking form
- A catalogue site: works or products by section, each with a page and an order form
- Finish or rebuild a site started by someone else
- Connect the forms of a WordPress, Tilda or Bitrix site to a CRM and Telegram
- HTML email templates for CRM mailings
- Speed up a site, fix the mobile version, run an SEO audit
