The “Geometry of Sound” poster series: jazz, rock and classical, 50×70
A series of vector posters for a three-day music festival: jazz, rock and classical. Each day has its own colour and geometry, the musicians are built from simple shapes, and together the posters read as one series. 50×70 format, print files and presentation mockups.

The task
Make a series of three posters that each read from a distance and together look like one system.
What I did
- The concept: a colour and an instrument for each night, yellow and a trumpet, red and a drum, blue and a cello
- Three vector illustrations of musicians built from simple shapes, with no photos or stock
- One grid: the date, time, venue and programme sit in the same place on all three posters
- Copy for each night in the spirit of the series: “yellow sounds like a trumpet, bright, bold, on the highest note”
- Print files at 50×70 and mockups on the street and in a gallery
