The task
Make a “be right back” screen: when the streamer loses connection, viewers should see a living screen in the streamer’s style and understand that the stream is still on.
What I did
- Three directions to choose from: a neon moon, a heart-shaped signal, a note on the wall
- The final version combines the heart signal and the moon
- A loop with no visible seam: heartbeat, twinkling stars, floating hearts
- Cyrillic and Latin set in the chosen fonts, with no system fallbacks
Proof
- All four screens are in the videos on this page

Pine House: a promo film — edit, colour and sound
39 seconds cut to music: the cuts land on the downbeats, the drawing turns into the house, and the whole edit can be taken apart right on the page
Toffi, a stream avatar that reacts to the keyboard and mouse
Press W, A, S, D right on the page — the paw hits the keys and the mouse follows your cursor
